IRL MILESTONES:

2005:

• IRL was established in November 2005, as a dedicated research centre based in Mumbai. IRL was initiated into clinical research by Synexus plc of the UK

2006:

• Within 6 months, IRL won its first 2 international studies for the Mumbai centre.

2007:

• By the end of 2007, IRL won a total of 9 studies of which 2 are completed, 5 are ongoing and 3 are to start.
• IRL expanded from a single site to a multi-site network across the country. Total number of IRL sites as of today is 7.
• For our first study, we were allotted 60% of the total Indian Target. The total recruitment period being 32 weeks, IRL recruited 73% of the total target in just 14 weeks.

Milestones: 2008

• IRL began its UK operations with an office in London.
• IRL has successfully completed a sponsor audit with no major findings.
• In a Phase III Diabetes study IRL is the highest randomizing site in India & 5th highest in the world.
• For another Phase III ENT study which is being conducted over Affiliate Sites:
  • Highest recruiting site in India
  • First site in India to screen and randomize patients.
  • Completed the allotted recruitment target one month prior to recruitment deadline.
• Patient Database of 8000 patients till date and expanding…
